02.07.09…luzilicious’ 5th year

2nd July 2009…marked luzilicious’ 5th year with me.
few ups and downs with her since day one.
her color still bright and shiny…i didn’t go to any detailers ever. :)
mileage now almost 160k km or 32k km per year in average.

with her, i’ve been to Penang, Cherating, Cameron Highlands, JB, Wang Kelian, Padang Besar and BKH…just to name a few.

luzilicious…i love u, muahhh!

AFOS at SIC, 31/05/09

i’d like to forward my thanks and congratulations to Organizer Team of the event.
especially to huda, who runs here and there to make sure we all got our wrist tag, event entrance sticker and meal coupon in order.
she fought the hot Sunday morning weather to get us in, earlier than MLOC, MalatBimmers and VIP Styles so that we got nice display location in the Grand Stand Mall Area.

to Marshal Team…your new style of Hot Cars placement in this convoy is good (heard this during TT after the event at R&R Dengkil, Shah Alam bound).
but less actions from them laa…where got less action from the HCs such as, pursuit from back of convoy and reposition themselves up front the convoy after marking up a junction or exit.
this will reduce the risk they might face and reduce the stress on their machine.

i found out that this time not as happening like last year’s.
this time got no Autoshow…just ICE Competition, Rally-X and Gymkhana.
the Gymkhana was participated by our GRA Round 1 in 1.6L Class Champion, Uncle Dave.
sorry Dave…didn’t watch u in action as i busy watching the chicks at Paddock…huhu.
i can see that not many car club were here yesterday…still got space in the mall area.
last year got G2C, SAVOC from Proton.
the public crowd also not as much as last year.

to newbie…got 2 came as far from Tg. Karang, too…good to see u all energetic and spirited for the event.
i hope u guys enjoyed with us, yesterday…and we’re looking forward for u guys again in our incoming event and TT, too.
got lots more for u guys to recover about WPC Malaysia…wait for the inter-region event or grand event.

pit-walkabout…nice. i miss last year’s one.
this time…managed to take a closer look and even touch the race cars.
i didn’t dare to step in to the driver’s cabin or open up the door.
but one car got accident during the race…when the mechanics yelled at us when one of us try to open up the door…hehehe.
it just a coincidence.

the dance show on the tarmac…i watched it from Paddock Rooftop.
the girls dancing in scorching heat around 1345hrs in SIC…crazy.
but their instructor…the chubby curly blonde in cap…didn’t dance…she’s hot…in my eyes.
ahhh…i wonder how wet is their shirt with sweat after the dance show…huhu.
babes in sweat = lurvely.

then got drum beat show from KL Drum…i forgot their full name.
it reminds me of The Stomp…a group which make music from recycle household materials.
the beats make me thumping my feet…while watching the AFOS Babes flaunt themselves on the track in front of the starting grid of GT3 cars.
the AFOS Babes are not for dancing…they can’t even swing to the beats…hehe.
they’re meant for giving up nice, cheeky, seducing and flirty posing in front of those DLSRs.

after the…time for the only race that i concentrate…the GT3 race.
got 2 grey cars…not sure what makes…giving out highest exhaust pitch among the raced cars…but they didn’t win.
but i could see those car gave fair battle to the Lamborghinis and the Porsches.

after the race ended, we all decided to leave the AFOS 2009.
other car clubs follow suits after that.

pheww…what a great Sunday!
i had a great time, i had cheek-to-cheek with the AFOS Babes and most important is, I enjoyed the day… :)

luzilicious beaten last night…

my friend called me up when i was about to go home around 10:45pm last night.
i was somewhere near Dataran Merdeka…sight-seeing.
got one Neo wanna test drag race wimme.
so, i said yes and met them 1 hour later in Glenmarie.

the yellow-black Neo came…using 15″ rims.
3 runs…i lost all 3.
the Neo’s 1st gear acceleration is about 30% more than i got.
i lost when we both still in 1st gear…can’t even reach him.
i lost about 1 and half car length distance…huhuhu

now i know the comparison of 4G18P and S4PH Campro with mild mods.
me and my club’s friends believe the Neo got performance camshaft inside the engine eventhough the owner said there’s none….just standard camshaft.
he claimed that he just got CAI, extractor and exhaust piping jobs.
if he said so…what else could we say.

luzilicious can drag?

recently…i had a fun drag race with a friend to my friend.
located in Glenmarie area…this new stretch is longer and more comfortable compare to the stretch that we used to drag in front of DHL, Glenmarie.
this stretch enough for quarter-mile…but i haven’t measure it yet with tripmeter.
just exaggerate estimation by using distance between the road lamp post.

ok…my car it just daily driven car for work, for hangout with friends…normal car.
what i meant normal car here is its not a purposely mods to enter formal track or drag event.
what makes me surprised was that i managed to beat a Satria Neo, more than 7 runs (i forgot total number of runs).
the Neo was prepared for drag race…with rear seats has been taken out and the spare tyre, too.
mine both still in the car.

our car are mods mildly…but heard that the Neo still using standard camshaft with wrong exhaust piping setup.
oh, forgot to mention that my car is automatic…huhu.
yes…automatic can drag race, too.
but lack of front wheel spin when launch…unlike manual car.

the excitement came when i could see my luzilicious slip away from the Neo from starting line.
i left the Neo not that far at the finishing line…less than a lenght of the Neo.
but hey, winning is winning, aite.
after the run…the Neo got its ECU tuned using PDT2000.
i just wait, idling.
come the 2nd run…”1…2…go!”…i won again.

to make it short…the drag race that night was for the Neo to mark his performance with my car before a battle with another Neo…also automatic.
the Neo owner decided to put in performance camshaft to make his car perform better.
i’m surprised that night coz i believe that the Campro-powered Neo should perform better than 4G18P-powered luzilicious.

then my friend told me that got one Persona auto wanna test with me.
my car not up to optimum condition for a drag race…absorbers out, worn front wheel bearings…noise here and there….ermmm.
then yesterday night got 2 auto car wanna test.
the Neo that waiting to be race by the Neo that i beat before and a Civic with SOHC VTEC.

fuhhh…this is getting more serious.
my luzilicious not that powerful laa guys, come on.
it just happened that night the Neo got wrong exhaust piping setup and run on standard camshaft.
and now i’ve to finish what i’ve started coz they sure wanna see how fast an automatic 4G18P could be.

front brake problem, settled

change to EVO discs, didn’t skim the old one.
disc warpage issue settled.
braking force from my feet now can be controlled better due to warpage has gone.
the new pads require it to be heat up to certain temperature for best performance.
now confidently to do late braking.
